Hasanamba Temple

Lakshmi Devi Temple
Lakshmi Devi temple located 16 kms from Hassan is built amidst a serene backdrop of a beautiful lake which is dotted with coconut trees. Built in 11th century there are four shrines inside this temple and the ceilings are intricately carved. The statue of main deity Lakshmi has beautiful carvings.

Belur
Belur also known as “Dakshina Varanasi” is located along the river Ygachi.The Chennakeshava temple built in belur has taken 103 years to complete and this beautiful architectural marvel is a feast for travellers.This grandeur structure has sculptures with intricate works .Belur is located about 39 kms from Hassan and the shrine is worth a visit. Shettyhalli church
The Shettyhalli church built on the backwaters of the Hemavathy reservoir is popularly known as a drowning church since it is submerged under waters during peak monsoon .Located 13kms from Hassan the church was built by French missionaries in 1860.Built along the backwaters the place give us spectacular views. Gorur Dam
Gorur dam built on the river Hemavathi is set amongst panoramic surroundings. Built in 1900 this dam is at a height of 146ft and it is about 22kms from Hassan.Travellers should visit this place during monsoons, the gushing waters from this dam is a breath taking view.
