A Stupendous Stay At Blue Waves Resort!

Nature has always fascinated me and I was looking out for locations with picturesque surroundings. I have read a lot about Malinska and its picturesque surroundings. I had wanted to visit the place for a long time and my interest was to visit their vineyards. This city with lush green vegetation, vineyards and water bodies always enthralled me. When I shared details of this island with my friends they were even more eager to visit such a place.

We collected as much information as possible about the place, accommodation and mode of travel in the city. We booked our tickets with Etihad Airways from Mumbai on an early morning flight. The flight had two stopovers at Abu Dhabi and Belgrade. During our 15 hour long journey, we watched movies and read some books. The journey was comfortable as the seats were positioned with enough leg room. We had specifically asked for Indian vegetarian food and it was fresh and tasty. We landed on time at this beautiful tourist destination.

Blue Waves Resort: A Beautiful Setting!

We wanted to stay in a beautiful and safe resort and so we chose this beautiful resort which was facing the beach and it had good wellness facilities. The main prerogative of selecting this hotel was its location, as it was close to Malin beach and Rupa beach. The beauty of the hotel setting was matchless and we were delighted from the moment we landed at the hotel.

We had planned our itinerary well in advance so that we could make the most of our vacation. First two days we went visiting the vineyards and other beaches of the place. Malinska’s maritime traditions were interesting and we enjoyed some water sports at the beaches. The picturesque Rova beach is just next to the hotel. We spent our mornings there and spent hours together at the beach reading or listening to music.

Two floors were allocated for the restaurant. We tried some delicacies of international cuisines, the Croation dishes were very tasty. Fresh salads formed part of our meals and pastries and desserts were delicious and they tasted well. We tried different spa treatments at their spa centre and the experience was good. We tried three sessions of Finnish therapies. The relaxation massages with natural oils helped to rejuvenate us and we felt stress free and more energetic. The hot stone massage was the ultimate thing to remove aches. Hot and cold stones were used in the therapy.

The hotel provided us cycles for exploring the island of Krk. We formed a group and started our journey of exploring nature at close quarters. One of my friends was interested in parasailing while the rest of us rented a boat and took a ride to discover the hidden coves of the island. The island had good shopping facilities and the hotel arranged us a pick up and drop facility to the shopping destinations. We bought indigenous varieties of wine found in the island. Blue wave resort entry fees is reasonable when compared to the facilities it offers.

We can never forget our cave visits as these are the prime attractions of the island. The caves and its underground galleries were unique to this island. The hotel has all other facilities befitting a four star hotel and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel set in a natural setting.
